Metallica is in town and I am at home! Darn..

The 'otai' metal band and one of my favorite band of all time, Metallica made their first ever show here in Kuala Lumpur, 21st August 2013. The organizer, Galaxy and LAMC Productions finally managed to bring the metal gods to Asia. Why am I not there? Because I will be going for the Singapore show on the 24th August. Why? Why not KL? Well, here's the story. It was first unveil at Singapore on the 24th August. So I bought the tickets and a week later, more venues were unveil.. Malaysia and Indonesia. Well, tempted to go to the KL show but the prices were too expensive. Might as well just go to either one, it will be the same setlist, I assume.. Huhuhu..

Can't wait for this Saturday.. Singapore! HERE I COME!!

Back to jogging..

My second day of jogging and it goes well. Although suffering some pains in the legs, it'll go away if I can maintain it for a few days, for the muscles to get used to it. I have been putting on weight since I quit smoking last December. Change to the e-cigarettes and somehow I feel a lot better. Hope it goes well. Need to lose a few or more kilos in order to get a good body shape.. And to wear back some of my pants which I could not wear now.. *sigh*..

Wish me luck.. :)

Aidilfitri 2013

1 Syawal, the day all Muslims all over the world celebrated Hari Raya. As such, the routine will be going to the mosque for Solat Sunat Aidilfitri, eat ketupat and rendang (all time favorite) and visiting relatives. For me, it is much the same as others, only that this year is a bit different that before. Usually, my Raya will end at 11.00 am, where family gathering, shake hands and asking for forgiveness and that's it. Off to bed.. That sums up my Raya.

But this year, it is more than that. After the family session, we all went to KL, to visit the grave of a family member, my best and closest friend, which every time I ended up in tears. Really, for me, who has been taking care of him when he was sick until his final breath, it really sticks in my memory for as long as I live. Going there with my family, since he was like a son to my my parents, recited Yassin and prayer for him is just an emotional moments for me. I miss you my dear friend, I will always come and visit you whenever I can.

After that, we went to the family's house, as both are closed. Meeting with Papa (that's what I called him) is something that I looked forward to every year during Raya. Putting all the bad things behind, I treated him with the utmost respect. Then off to Kak Ila's house in keramat AU5 for a short raya trip since we're nearby..

Now this is the best part. On the way back, since we're going in two cars, my sister, which was driving her car, text me.. "A&W PJ". Ayah wanted his dose of Root Beer Float.. Hehehe.. He didn't get it last time when we went there during his birthday.. So, detour to A&W PJ for a mug of cold, root beer.. :)

Done with the Root Beer, came back around 3.30pm, dozed off until 8pm.. Huhu.. Hungry and then off to my parents to have some more ketupat and rendang.. Sheesh... I have to start working out soon.. :)

Ok then, let see what tomorrow will brings.. Ciao.. Selamat Hari Raya.. :)

Rest in Peace Napoleon.. :(

After Hercules left us about 2 months ago, Napoleon, the second oldest cat in the family left us for good after battling illness and infection due to the fall from the 4th floor. It seems to be ok when he survived the fall, but I noticed when Hercules left us, Napoleon was more like lifeless, didn't even bother to managed or clean himself. Maybe the bonding was there between them since they were together for quite some times.. I am sorry boy that I could not offer you any help but to do what I can to help you. This morning he managed to drink some water with my help. When I was about to leave home to buka puasa, I was surprised to hear he meowed as like he don't want me to go.. Gosh.. He was gone when I came home just now.

Thank you my dear boy, I have so much fun having you around. I am glad that I have the chance to give you a better life, coming from the alley behind my parents house. I hope you have a better life In Rainbow Bridge.. Do look for Hercules and the others there.. Thank you for the great memories.. I am so sad and in tears now.. *sigh*

Salam Aidilfitri to all Muslims around the world and to all Malaysians, Happy Holidays. Be safe on the road going back to your hometown.. :)
